This was inspired by a scene that I saw on a road I have passed hundreds of times, usually just a patch of forest in a farm in Worcester PA. Captivated by the feeling of serenity that morning, I slowed down to capture the glow coming through the trees. The horses paid no mind and kept grazing, so I took dozens of pictures and felt the calmness of the moment and the clarity of the scene I needed to paint ahead of me. This painting is a reminder that beauty and peace aren’t always somewhere else, sometimes they are just there within your reach.
